The shape is the drop: a form that appears in early Andean goldwork, in pre-Columbian nose ornaments, in the tear-shaped pendants of indigenous metalsmithing across the Americas. At 8mm interior diameter, it sits low and centered against the philtrum — visible but not overwhelming. At 1.2mm gauge, it is compatible with most standard septum piercings. The septum carries cultural weight across traditions — it is one of the oldest and most geographically widespread piercing placements in human history. The drop-shaped clicker adds a layer of specificity to that weight: the drop is directional, pointing downward, grounding the center of the face toward the earth. The gold-tone finish catches warm light — flattering across skin tones, legible at distance.
