What goes in, and nothing else

A fresh piercing is an open wound with metal in it. What we put through you is not a matter of taste. It is a matter of what your body will tolerate while it closes around it.

So the list is short, and it is the whole list. Everything below is what we install. There is nothing behind it.

The standard we hold

Material
Implant-grade titanium — Ti-6Al-4V ELI
Certification
ASTM F-136 — the medical implant specification
Sterilisation
By the manufacturer, ethylene oxide gas (EtO)
Packaging
Sealed individually — one pouch, one piece
Traceability
Every pouch carries a lot number and a sterilisation date
Cost
Included in the piercing fee. Not an upsell.

These are not our words for it. They are the printed specification on the box, and you are welcome to read it before we open it in front of you. What the terms mean →

01

Titanium

Included

Nine forms. Between them they cover every placement we pierce. Which one you get is decided by your anatomy at the appointment — not by a picture you chose beforehand.

  • Threadless labret post

    16g · 7/16", 3/8", 5/16" · 5mm, 4mm, 2.5mm backs · also 18g · 5/16"

The workhorse. Lobe, helix, flat, tragus, conch. The end presses in — no threads to turn against a fresh wound.

  • Internally threaded labret

    16g · 5/16" · 3mm back

Where a threaded end is the safer mechanical choice. The thread lives inside the post, never against your tissue.

  • Straight barbell

    14g · 5/8"

Industrial, tongue, nipple. A straight bar through two points, or through one thick one.

  • Curved barbell

    16g · 5/16"

Rook, eyebrow, daith. The curve follows the fold of the cartilage instead of fighting it.

  • Threadless curved barbell, fixed flat disc

    3/8"

A curve with a flat back that sits close and does not snag. Chosen when the anatomy is deep.

  • Hinged segment ring

    16g · 5/16" and 3/8"

Septum, daith, helix, nostril. It closes seamlessly — a continuous circle, no visible join.

  • Circular barbell

    16g · 3/8" · 4mm beads

The horseshoe. Septum and nostril, when you want the option to flip it up and out of sight.

  • Threadless flat disc end

    3mm

The quietest end we make. Flat, low, nothing to catch on a pillow or a jumper.

  • Bezel-set CZ navel ring

    14g · 7/16" · clear CZ

Navel. The stone is bezel-set — held in a rim of metal, not on claws that lift.

One exception

Captive bead ring

16g · surgical steel · pre-sterilised

The one exception on this page: steel, not titanium. Offered when a captive bead is the right call for the placement.

02

Solid 14kt gold

Upgrade

The post stays titanium. Only the end that shows is gold — solid 14kt, pre-sterilised, threadless. Six of them. This is the entire selection, and it is added to the fee.

  • Tier I

    +$60

CZ prong pin · Opal cabochon

  • Tier II

    +$80

    Gold disk · Hammered disk

  • Tier III

    +$120

    Ceres top · Trinity top

  • A clear cubic zirconia held in gold claws on a threadless post, photographed on black.

    Tier I · +$60

    Gold CZ prong pin

    14kt yellow gold · 1.5mm · clear CZ

The smallest light you can wear. Reads as a single point of white.

  • An opal cabochon in a polished gold bezel, its surface flashing green and pink, on black.

    Tier I · +$60

    Gold opal cabochon

    14kt yellow gold · 2mm · opal

A dome, not a facet. It shifts colour with the angle of the room.

  • A plain polished gold disc on a threadless post, photographed on black.

    Tier II · +$80

    Gold disk

    14kt yellow gold · 2.5mm

Plain, polished, absolute. The end that never goes out of date.

  • A gold disc covered in hand-struck dimples that catch the light unevenly, on black.

    Tier II · +$80

    Hammered disk

    14kt yellow gold · 3mm

Struck by hand so the surface holds light unevenly, like water.

  • A pear-cut violet amethyst with a small round stone above it, set in gold claws, on black.

    Tier III · +$120

    Ceres top

14kt yellow gold · pear + round amethyst

A drop and a point above it. Worn vertically, it lengthens the ear.

  • Three round white stones set in a trefoil in gold claws, photographed on black.

    Tier III · +$120

    Trinity top

14kt yellow gold · three stones

Three stones in a trefoil. The most light on the smallest footprint.

03

What it costs

The fee covers the consultation, the piercing, the titanium, the aftercare instructions and your first check-up. Gold is the only thing that is extra.

Placement Titaniumincluded + Tier I+$60 + Tier II+$80 + Tier III+$120
Lobe · second lobe · high lobe · stacked lobe $80 $140 $160 $200
Helix · flat · forward helix · tragus $85 $145 $165 $205
Rook · daith · conch · snug $90 $150 $170 $210

Prices in US dollars. Anatomy decides what is possible; if a placement will not heal on you, we say so and we do not take your money for it.

Why the shop is not on this page

Fresh

Titanium. This page. Nothing else.

Sterilisable to a medical standard. Non-porous. Inert against a wound that is still deciding whether to accept you.

Healed

Horn. Bloodwood. Brass. Stone. Resin.

Everything in the shop. Beautiful, alive, and utterly wrong for an open wound — porous, reactive, impossible to sterilise. Wear it once you are closed, and it will be worth the wait.

This is not a rule we invented to sell you titanium. It is the reason the titanium exists. How healing actually works →
